So you want to be a writer
Grab some paper and start to write
If you want to be a painter
Then paint something - ALRIGHT

If you want to be a movie star
Then find some place and act
You say that itís a date you want
Go find someone - thatís a fact

So you want to be a singer
Start singing - nowís the time
You want to be a poet
Start writing then a rhyme

You say the trash needs taken out
Then get up from your chair
Stop telling me what should be done
Start doing it you hear

You want to save some money
Quite spending so much dear
Itís some weight you want to lose
Quite eating like a bear

So many things I hear folks say
As they sit around and talk
The proof is in the pudding son
Quite talking - letís see you walk

Yes Jesus said weíd know them
By the fruit that they put out
For what they do tells more to you
Then if they stand and shout

Gets right to the point in this poem. :) You might want to use a writing buddy to proofread for things like punctuation which is needed at the end of each line in a stanza, and the spelling of quit, rather than quite. Nice poem.

Oh, good! Lots of really great verses in this humorous entry! Have a buddy check for little grammar errors to polish this up, and you'll have a sparkling entry. I love the many truths you presented in this.

Well done in content. Right on the topic.

I found this little poem to be very funny. I enjoyed it. A few typos and grammar errors, but nothing that couldn't be easily fixed. I appreciate you sharing this.
