It was Saturday night at Joe’s bar. Bill was there with his friends Dan, Bud and Jim. Bill's friends were known to party Bills friends also liked the women in their skimpy costumes and every other word that came out there mouth was a curse word.

The next day at Hope Church. Bill led leading a small group bible study with his friends Frank, Don and George. Little did his church friends know about what he was doing the night before?

The Lord has recently opened my eyes about people like Bill. When I sit in church I wonder how many people are like Bill? We put on a pretty face on Sunday morning, but are walk does not match our talk. There was a youth pastor that I knew by the name of Dave Busby, he talked about our "fatal flaws." If we don't correct them they will come back to haunt us. When we are on the work site we tend to act differently then when we are in church. When we are out with are friends are we the same person we present ourselves to be on Sunday morning?

I think we all have fatal flaws and that our talk and are walk don't match. The first part of Romans is says to not to be conformed to this world. As Christians we need to do what ever we can to make sure that are walk and are talk match. What change me is the second part of that verse where is says, "but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind." My mind transformed when I got into the word, by doing a Bible reading schedule. I look at as being obedient, keeping Jesus first.

The real Bill was a drinker and liked to party. We are not to be conformed to this world; we need to let the Lord transform us.

A good simple devotional, that points out the problems of living double lives. It would be good to actually give the Bible reference (Romans 12:2) in a devotional.
Try reading your entry aloud to pick up on typos, (you have 'are' but I think you meant 'our') if you can get someone (maybe a Challenge Buddy) to read it for you, that's better still. Keep writing and honing the gift God has given you.

You have very good points in this devotional. Please proofread your work, though. Mistakes distract from your point and that's not what you want to happen. Keep on writing!
