Everyday is Church day

And the Church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.
Ephesians 1: 23, NLT

Church on Sunday is more than wearing your best.
Shaking hands, giving hugs,
Allow the Holy Spirit to do the rest.

We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
2 Corinthians 4:7, NLT

Church on Monday is at the coffee shop.
Laughing, chattering, sipping coffee,
Is fellowship I’ve grown to love a lot.

Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
Mathew 6:21, NLT

Church on Tuesday is the gift I offer best.
Through cleaning, preening, and prayer,
I am incredibly blessed.

“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Mathew 20:28, NLT

Church on Wednesday is a time for helping a friend.
Visiting and sharing, of course,
Without my bible which would surely offend.

Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.
Romans 14:1, NLT

Church on Thursday I seem to learn a lot.
Wisdom through age and memories,
This hour God has brought.

How much better to get wisdom than gold and good judgment than silver!
Proverbs 16:16, NLT

Church on Friday gets me out for a walk.
Watch the dogs, feed them treats,
Lend an ear while she talks.

Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”
Mathew 4:19, NLT

Church on Saturday, what shall we do?
Family time, homework, housework,
I pray our time is pleasing to you.

Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.
Psalm 37:5, NLT

In every event God has a purpose and plan.
Friendship and fellowship
Not just a building made by man.

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1, NLT

This is a very creative piece punctuated with truths. I really enjoyed it. Keep writing!

Amen!!! Nice writing of the truth. Everyday we live for Him as important as the others. By the way, my church this morning is reading these stories as I avoid crowds due to chemo, so thanks for sharing!

Lovely, tender sentiments, and I appreciate the scripture interspersed throughout.

A few of your rhymes seemed a bit forced, and "Bible" should always be capitalized.

Thanks for sharing so many different aspects of church--after reading so many pieces on what is wrong with the church, this was refreshing.

I love this entry. Wonderful work!

I loved this! I loved the verses interspersed to emphasis your thoughts. Capitalize the word "Bible" to show that it is God's Word.
Absolutely beautiful!
