He knew just what he required. A place where people would come to experience his touch. He designed it so that it was not at a particular place. He meant for it to be just anywhere that his love could be felt.

That must have been the Masterís plan for his church. Many Christians have the privilege of worshiping God from a building. They congregate together and hear from God and worship him. But then there are those times when the love of God cannot be confined within the building. It must be experienced beyond the walls. God must have designed his church as the people who are called by his name. These people, found in all walks of life are to bear witness to his word of love to the world.

What a joy it is when Christians all over the world live up to the expectations of their father in heaven. When they spread the word of God and live lives that are worthy before him to bear witness of his love to the world. For the Father desires that his Church be the people who seek to glorify him with their lives. These are the people who live up to the call of love from the father. They add spice to otherís lives by allowing the love of God to flow through them to the world. By so doing the Church is presented as healing balm to the world. How wonderful it is when the people of God live lives that reflect the love of Christ and bring cheer and hope to a suffering world.

Very good description of what a church is supposed to be. Great writing.

Your thoughts certainly reflect Jesus' words to the Samaritan woman at the well. God is Spirit and the church a spiritual organism. Well-put!

Lovely reflections. To expand on this, consider adding specific examples of the Church outside of the church building.

You're right. It's wonderful to think that the Church is made of people...people everywhere, showing the world about God.
The word "Father" is usually capitalized when referring to God.
This would be a good devotional.

I agree, when the church is being what the Father created it to be, then lives are richly blessed.
