“Ok, Camera one check you focus, and get ready to do a slow push into the pastor, when I come to you," said the director.

Those words and words like it are ones I have heard since I was in High school. Being behind the camera has been my thing. That is how I serve my church. This may not be a very glamorous position to some people, it might be boring way to serve for some, but that has been a way for me to serve. Not everyone can sing, not everyone can play a musical instrument. Some people play a mean trombone, well I play a mean camera.

I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that. 1 Corinthians 7:7. Here is the last part of 1 Corinthians 14:12, try to excel in gifts that build up the church.

Do what your interested in, do what seems natural. If you were a friendly person maybe you natural job would be a greeter. If you have that natural sales skills, or you have the ability to persuade people maybe you should be on the evangelism team. If your good at cleaning, you the person to clean up after the Sunday potluck lunch. The important thing is to remember is to do it onto the Lord.

Short and sweet--you're definitely an asset to your church family!

Be careful with the different between "your" and "you're", and "onto" and "unto."

I applaud you for embracing your gift.

Isn't it wonderful to find your piece in the puzzle? I'd love to see more examples in this. Keep writing.

You have a friendly, conversational tone to your writing that makes me want to read our ideas. I like the way you encourage others to find, and use their gifts.
