Topic: Encouragement (among believers) (11/08/07)
To live an encouraged life; is something that we all really need. But, the question is really where are we getting our encouragement from? Is it from our parents? Children? Friends? Pastors and Ministers? Or is it coming from the only place where TRUE ENCOURAGEMENT can ever come; and that is from the mouth of God, through His Word. I just want to ENCOURAGE each of my fellow brothers and sisters in the family of God, to let a rather familiar passage of scripture…BECOME A BEDROCK OF ENCOURAGEMENT for your walk with God, and to really experience the encouragement like no human can ever give. For just a moment; relax and let me take you with myself to the shores of the PROMISED land, and yes after all those many years of wandering around in their doubts, fears, unbelief and disobedience (does that sound familiar to any of us…I just say, OUCH, and Praise God for encouragement!).

Now, is the time. The appointed time unto God; to deliver on His Promise. The leader of the people; would be a young man by the name of Joshua. As, we see GOD EQUIPS US. Joshua, had been the assistant of Moses, and had faithfully served Moses. The very things that God has given us to do today in our lives; is only to EQUIP and PREPARE US for what God has waiting in our future. But, this is the part that I really like; when I read and study the life of Joshua. GOD ENCOURAGED JOSHUA. Here it is from the King James Version….Joshua 1.5-9:

5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I WILL NOT FAIL THEE, NOR FORSAKE THEE.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe TO DO according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: TURN NOT FROM IT to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe TO DO according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? BE STRONG and of a GOOD COURAGE; BE NOT AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: FOR THE LORD THY GOD IS WITH THEE WHITHERSOEVER THOU GOEST!!!!!!

So, as we all walk this journey with God in our lives; I pray that we all will LISTEN TO THE ENCOURAGEMENT that our God gave to the young leader Joshua; and RECEIVE THAT SAME ENCOURAGEMENT and INSTRUCTION into each of our spirits, hearts and lives.

Then, my brothers and sisters let us MARCH ON FOR THE PROMISE LAND; which is filled with every promise that the covenant of God has for us, our families and our lives. Also, let us be careful to heed the every instruction of our Lord; so that we can bring down the walls in our lives; like they did with the walls of Jericho. But in the end; LETS ALL GIVE A SHOUT UNTO THE LORD, that just shakes the earth and gives SOME ENCOURAGEMENT to other believers who are around us.

Well, I just know that God’s Word is FULL OF ENCOURAGEMENT for His chosen people; and yes that IS ALL WHO HAVE HAD THERE ROBES WASHED. There is coming that day; when our blessed Lord and Savior Jesus will return, with His reward in His hand. Let us all be found, PREPARED, WAITING, PRAYING ………and “ENCOURAGED IN HIS PROMISES” !!!!!!! Let me ENCOURAGE YOU with our eternal hope: Read Revelation 22.12-14...it truly is OUR ETERNAL ENCOURAGEMENT!!!! Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

Lots of encouragement here, that's for sure...

I'd recommend that you avoid the use of all-caps, which make the reader feel as if he's being shouted at. Choose strong words and trust your words to convey the strength of your emotion, or if necessary use italics sparingly for emphasis.

Your enthusiasm for the topic is evident. I agree with Jan's comment about the caps. Also there were some punctuation errors. Keep writing and sharing your knowledge.
