Verse 1

My friend I know these troubled times,
Seem more than we can bear,
Just know you can depend on me,
Your burdens you can share.
I want you to know on your behalf,
Iím not afraid to face the devil,
In Jesus name I have the authority,
And the ground I stand on is level.
Just like God sent Isaiah to bind up,
And heal the brokenhearted,
Through Jesus weíll mend your brokenness,
Heíll see itís done before weíre started Ö

Chorus

And Iíll lift you up, when youíre fallen down,
Iíll bring you to the throne of Jesus,
Just tear off your earthly crowns,
And give it all to Him, Let Him draw you close,
I may be a friend to you,
But heís the best friend youíll ever know ...
So Iíll lift you up Ö

Verse 2

My friend you know youíre doing wrong,
Itís not too hard to see,
I wish I didnít have to tell you,
But itís my responsibility,
You walked so straight for so long,
What caused this to happen now?
You were living for the Lord,
Now your head wonít even bow.
What are these tears, I didnít come here,
Just to make you cry,
Oh, yes my friend, Iíll pray with you,
You donít have to ask me twice Ö

(Chorus)

Bridge

Let you cry on my shoulder,
Until I feel your pain,
Let you tell me all of your problems,
Until youíve had your say,
Iíll bind away the devil,
Rebuke him in Jesus name,
Iíll do everything that I can do,
To make sure youíre okay Ö

(Chorus 2x)
