The unfamiliar and winding road
Upon, which we’re about to tread
What is going to come upon us?
So unfamiliar around the bend

Wrongs, failures, disappointments
Were my memories when I tried this before
Such a long time ago
Can I ever let go?
I’m just full of dread and woe

A revelation, does appear
Especially at this time of year
So surprising
Oh, the excitement!

Are you sure?
Last time I blew it
It seems so hard
I’m just not sure I can do it!
When I focus on what’s gone before
Oh it just seems such a chore!

I think I’ll just hold on to a little bit

With a simple flick, the rope was dismissed
