I really enjoyed reading this story. I think we often underestimate the importance of plain old fellowship: no agendas, just food, fun, and getting to know our brothers and sisters. The congregation in your story brought back many memories from my childhood when this kind of fellowship was very common.

Delightful, wonderful portrait of true fellowship among believers of so many stripes. I was right there with you.

Nothing like a simple story told REALLY WELL! I have memories of the potlucks and the chats in the back of the sanctuary in my small Baptist church growing up. Not only do I miss the fellowship---I REALLY miss the cooking!
So well portrayed.

I enjoyed this entry on Fellowship. It reflected the joy you experienced during these Sunday church attendances and the pleasure you got out of them, leaving beautiful memories of your past.
