Topic: Worship (corporate) (10/04/07)

TITLE: A Heart Full Of Acknowledgement
By Rhadonda Wright

Our worship to Yah (God) is truly an important part of our lives. We are showing Him that we reconize and love Him for who He is.
Worship is only for the benefit of Yah(God)because we are letting Him know that He is the center of our joy and lives. We yield oueselves to Elohom's (God's) rule and dominion.
The Bible gives us a perfect example on how we should worship Yah (God).
I Chronicles 29: 10-13 says:
Verse 10)"Wherefore David blessed Yahveh (The Lord) before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou Yahveh Elohim
(Lord God) of Israel our Father, forever and ever. Verse 11) Thine, O Yahveh (Lord) is the greatness, and the power and the glory, and the victory and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Yahveh (Lord), and thou art exalted as head above all. Verse 12) Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all: and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Verse 13) Now therefore, our Yahveh (God), we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name". KJV
Also we worship Yah (God) in singing. Colossians 3:16 ".... singing with grace in your hearts to Yahveh. (The Lord). KJV

Meditation is another way to worship Yah. (God). Psalm 63:6 " When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches". KJV. Also Psalm 77:12 "I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings". KJV.
Yah (God) is receiving what is due to Him from our praise, worship and adoration. When we come to Yah in worship we should come with an attitude of gratitude. Our hands are raised, our mouths are open giving Him the fruit of our lips. We need to come unto Him with grateful hearts and appreciation for who He is, admiration and delight because we are happy we serve an awesome and mighty Yah (God), gladness, thanksgiving and adoration because we are joyful because He is in our lives and we love and adore Him. When we worship Him, this is the time to tell Yah Thank-You, I love You, I adore You, I appreciate You, I glorify You and I bless Your name. He a great Elohim (God). He is the creator of everything. The heaven, earth, moon, sun, stars, sky, clouds, human life, animal life, plant life. The list is endless. St John 1:3 lets us know that "All things were made by Him ; and without Him was not anything made that was made". KJV. Also Colossioans 1:16 lets us know that "For by HIm were all thing created, that are in the heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him". KJV This is ackowedging how powerful He is.
We are also acknowledging Yah, by reconizing His worth, reconizing who He is, reflecting upon his beauty and how valuable He is to our lives and His character.
The bible says in John 4:24 "Elohim is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth". KJV.
Let us give Him what He so richly deseves our worship.

You've cited some wonderful verses here. I think one of my favorites is, "Psalm 63:6 " When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches". KJV"

Your final sentence is perfect. I'm so glad you recognize that He's worthy of worship (I wish more people did).

Keep writing!!
