John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Almost raptured!
Well, that’s what it felt like. There’s no possible way to describe it.
It happened one Sunday morning service during praise and worship when I and my son lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We attended Victory Christian Center which used the Mabee Center at Oral Roberts U.
There were several thousand people there that Sunday morning and our praise and worship must have touched the heart of God in a very special way. I don’t know if anyone else experienced it, but I felt as if I were being lifted right out of the place. If a rocket could talk it might say, “Yeah, I know just how you felt.”
My feet were still standing solidly on the floor. I have since felt the tangible Presence of the Lord during praise and worship, and in my own private worship. And I didn’t have an out of the body experience that day. Yet, never before nor since have I ever experienced anything like it.
But it was something I will never forget. Just a foretaste of what's to come?
