I have moments, when all i can do is breathe. When the darkest part of the storm of the day seems to want to overwhelm and suck me into it's depth. I breathe. Deeply breathe the very breath of God. This life giving, strenghtening, loving and calm inducing breath fills my soul.
I offer a smile, a hug, an encouraging word, an upbeat personna that is the exact opposite of how i am feeling at that moment, and i breathe.
For my God is with me and for me always and all ways. I see a tree with it's brillant color gently swaying in the breeze and i am thankful, i see a child laughing and i am thankful, i see the majesty of the ocean and i am thankful, i see my husband eyes light up when he sees me and i am thankful.
As i walk into my home church, surrounded by my family in Christ, i breathe, the very breath of God and i am thankful. I put aside my stuff for the time i am there ,deep in Him and i breathe in hope, joy, peace, the will to follow Him.
The very revelation of each breath as a prayer has carried me through the roughest storms with Him as my anchor. I can breathe in the poison of others hurts and worries, and together we breath out life giving oxygen. Amazing to think as each one of us in our daily walk are praying, praising, interceeding all with a breath that we seem to take for granted as just a breath.

This is absolutely beautiful and worshipful - it sent chills up my spine. A little polish to this (grammar and such) would make this wonderful piece even better.

I like how you relate breathing to praying and how your article is permeated with breathing. Very nice!

When I learned how the atmosphere of the Earth is a closed loop, I realized that we are breathing the same air God has breathed, Christ has breathed, the saints who have gone before us have breathed. Isn't that an awesome thought? I like this entry very much. I like the idea of breathing in a prayer and breathing out our sorrows, out fears, and our disappointments. Great devotional and more than worthy of a little polishing!

Thanks Kim
This is beautiful and a worthy read - the true essence of worship is complete dependance on someone for life - you captured it well

Breathing - it seems so simple, & it's a natural part of living yet in challenging situations, I need to REMIND myself to do this. Thank you for this reminder.
