All Because We Worshiped Together
As we come in as separate people
So many distinctions set us apart
We walk through the door under that church steeple
With so many burdens upon our hearts
Some go straight to the altar
And begin to cry out because of their sins
Some contemplate how their faith has faltered
As others just want things to begin
Then prayer rings out unto the Lord
We thank you for all you’ve done!
Let’s bring our minds on one accord
For worship now has begun
The musicians begin to sound
As a psalmist sings with grace
People lie prostrate on the ground
As the Spirit begins to move in the place
Tears begin to flow from our eyes
Because we have begun to worship together
And with one loud voice we cry
That His mercy endureth forever!
Soon we all lose control
As this worship reaches His throne
And His Spirit touches our souls
As soon as the ram’s horn is blown
Then the Lord looks down from above
And tells His hosts “see how they worship Me!”
Then He pours out His matchless love
Like the waves of a mighty sea
Healing begins to flow out
Others realize they can handle life’s weather
The once broken begin to shout
All Because We Worshiped Together!
