Un-Righteous Anger vs. GOD’S Righteous Anger

All of us who are living in the present world, since 9-11, are keenly aware of a new kind of “anger”. We listen, daily, to new “demon-strations” of the anger that militant Muslim factions have against anyone who would oppose them, and their point of view. Frustration hits us in the face as we ask, “what can we do?!” As we ponder on the word, “demon-strations”, why not let The WORD of GOD teach us. Why not involve GOD in fighting the “ROOT”cause of this anger, which is in the “spiritual” realm?

“First”, as Christians, we cannot forget that the battle belongs to The Lord. For the Lord to be with us, we have to clean up our house, “FIRST”. The Apostle, Paul, said it best: “For I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” (1 Cor. 9:14 NKJV) Each of us would be wise to, also, remember 1 John 5:18: “We know that whoever is born of GOD does not sin; but he who has been born of GOD keeps (guards) himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.” And. If we do sin, pray that GOD would convict our consciences, according to 1 John 1:9, to confess it so that we do not wound our ‘authority’, in Christ.’

Now we can go into the “second” phase. “For we do ‘not’ wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” ( Eph. 6:12NKJV) Putting ‘flesh against flesh’; trusting in our own understanding and strength, is as futile as expecting two ‘north poles’ of ‘two’ magnets to come together. GOD can change hearts if, and when, we ask HIM to render our enemies helpless (GOD’S binding and loosing principal). Our enemies are “spiritual”. Why have we forgotten “spiritual warfare? How can we open up roads to present The Gospel, caring for the “unsaved”, if we cut off a road before getting on it? It seems like that we have lost our confidence in GOD, but HE has not changed. GOD is to ‘always’ get the Glory, first, and by proclaiming HIS WORD, into our situations, thru prayer, trust, and proclamation, we involve HIM, and acknowledge HIM.

(Examples of prayer strategy) “Lord, bind the deceptive powers that are trying to engulf men’s hearts, and loose Your HOLY SPIRIT to set up a standard against this evil. Bless mankind with The Fear (Respect) of The Lord, which is to hate and depart from evil, and the beginning of wisdom and understanding. Lord, Bless mankind with the eyes of their spiritual understanding being opened by Your Hand, and Bless us with godly sorrow that leads to repentance and Salvation, in Jesus’, The Christ’s Holy Name, so be it.”

“Third” strategy now, should be to direct “righteous anger” toward the “root” of all mankind’s problems; the deceptive forces of the evil one. Remember that satan is defeated, already. Jesus defeated him for us, in every way! Practice “proclaiming” GOD’S WORD, praying GOD’S WORD into situations and watch The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in Jesus’ Name, render our enemies useless, and powerless. For the sake of the lost, have Faith in GOD again, as David did with Goliath, and the three Hebrew children (in book of Daniel), did! “Lord, grant it to be so, in Jesus’ Name.”

Well thought-out Bible study; thank you for taking the time to present it here!

I'd caution you against overuse of quotation marks. They're fine when used to quote sections of Scripture, but when you use them around other words or phrases, the implication is that you're using those phrases in an ironic way--not the effect you had intended. To mark off a specific word as one that you're expounding on, use italics. Otherwise, eleminate as many as possible. It will clear up some of the clutter in this excellent study of the Word.

Keep writing--this is good!

I agree. This is a good entry that will really shine with a bit of editing to add polish!
