It's hard to be a mom
To be so selfless and loving
To always give of yourself
Even when you're mourning
Everyone elses needs
Seem to always come first
Mom is patient and wise
And always ready for the worst
Sha tends to you when you are sick
And stays up late if need be
And works that extra job
To make sure you don't go hungry
She deals with the attitude
When her child becomes a teen
And never loses her cool
Unless she feels you're being obscene
She tries to help you decide
What to do with you're life
To focus on your career
Or marry or be a wife
Mom is always supportive
And sometimes holds her tongue
But when it's really important
She'll tell you when you are wrong
Then when it is your turn
To handle one that's small
She'll say I hope you're ready
For the hardest job of all.

It is a hard job being a mom. She has to be everything at all times and any where. Good poem.
