Prayer
Dear God, I come to You for peace
When my world seems so insane
The world has lost its love
And lives so full of pain
Father, my view is clouded
By fear taller than the trees
Out of focus and feeling alone
I turn to You; You love me
My Lord, this earth that You created
Feels like sinking sand
I look around for a friendly touch
And its You who takes my hand
Jesus, at the cross I find my strength
I leave my sins for You to bear
The things that overwhelm me
You carry without a care
Savior, You hear my prayers
You heal my breaking heart
Carry my burdens with You
And from me You never part
Prince of Peace, You love me
You cover me in amazing grace
Forgiveness, peace, and love
All flowing from Your face
All the things I give you
All the things I take
Were offered as a promise
That only You could make
Great Shepherd, lead me
Teacher, show me Your ways
Lamb of God, You died for me
Sacrifice, so I could live for all the days
