Yes Beatrice, mommy is coming.”

“Thank you Lord for my wonderful children, my blessings from you, I pray Lord that my quiver may be full of them! Praise God!”

“Mom! Mom! Mom! Mom!”

“Good morning Tommy, how did you sleep?”

“I DON”T want to go to school today! I am mad at you!”

“Tommy, let's not wake up like that okay? There is no reason for that.

“Mom! Tommy called me a napkin face!.” “Beatrice called me salt and pepper face first!”

“Focus, Lord I know I can focus on You. Here, right here in Your word it says, 'If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands...' You will protect us. So, here we are. How I love you Lord. Thank You for dying for me My sweet Jesus, I didn't even deserve that, but You took it a step further, You stepped down into my world so You would know first hand what I will fa...”

God, You are teaching me that I am Your princess. I sure do not feel like a princess right now, but I sure could use a Daddy's lap to curl up on. You are my strength when I am weak, You are the treasure that I seek...”

“MOM!”

“MOOOOOM!!”

“I yelled for her first!”

“Nu-uh, I did!”

“WILL YOU BOTH JUST SHU....BE QUEIT NOW!!!!”

Well Jesus, I am quivering, but I don't think a full quiver is such a good idea right now. Help!

Okay guys, both of you come over here and sit with mommy, we can work all this out...”

This brought back precious memories of my three children who are now grown and have flown the coop! Great!

Clever story, good job of capturing the hectic life of a mom with preschoolers.

The only suggestion I'd have would be to put your prayers and thoughts in italics, to differentiate them further from the dialogue with the little ones.
