Thanksgiving is not something we should celebrate only once a year,
but it should be a state of living, especially for the children of God. Just the fact that we have been redeemed from the curse should make us giddy with joy. Just knowing that we have eternal life with a God that loves us unconditionly should make us walk taller.
Living thankfully can be difficult, especially when our circumstances seem to be overwhelming us. Why is that our circumstances always seem to be negative influences in our lives? I am thankful that Jesus Christ did not let His circumstances overrule what He knew His Father's will was for Him. I
am so thankful that the Trinity of God had a divine plan established before
the foundation of the world was even established. I am so thankful that
Jesus Christ was willing to pay my debt, a debt He did not owe, so that I
could be free. I am so thankful that the Holy Spirit of God choses to live
inside of me every day. I am thankful that I do not have to be "under" my
circumstances, but I can rise above them and be thankful. I can choose
everday to live in a state of thanksgiving regardless of my circumstances.

Indeed if anyone should have resented the circumstances he was put in, it was Jesus. And yet, each time he rose to overcome. But each time we see before he did, he prayed. Good reminders here.
