Whilst I sleep, I must verily express,
Dreams should always decompress.
Instead to deliberate the whole night through,
Tis’ what the troubled mind ensues.
One barking hound my ears do shun,
My visage is warmed by the morning sun.
No breakfast be given the late to rise,
Belated arrival, “Inevitable” she cries.
Words of correspondence have gone astray,
While fog in my head does what it may.
Annoying phones and impatience I dread,
If I could only return to bed.
The day expires in the nick of time,
Thank you Lord, for drive time rhyme.
Through the door, I longed to travel,
Then open the case, no time to babble.
Gentle breath shall traverse thy lip,
While hands over woodwind faithfully grip.
Tears of joy, mine eyes shall shed,
Calmness ensues, while a melody ebbs.
Precious arrangements will again enable,
A blessed sinner restored and stable.
Harmonies abound until cessation,
A nourished soul, thanks orchestration.
Restorative repose I receive through the night,
While abiding my Gods unyielding sight.
