Your hands are the needles Lord
You, Spirit, are the threads of wool
You know my name
My thoughts
My actions
My brain turns
This way and that
You are here
You are there
Not using the same pattern for all of us
Each one has a different size
Before a word is on my tongue
You know it completely Lord
Before my foot treads on the ground
You know its direction Lord
You look at my heart
For you made it
People look at the outward appearance
Changing it to make it what they want it to be
God made us all in his own image
Was he wearing a pinstripe suit when he was crucified?
So, I thank you God, that you made me
The way that I am, so I can see
I can like myself, as you made me
The way you wanted me to be
Even if I am starting to go a little saggy round the edges!
