Though at times
It may find itself
To be
In a saddened
State --
It is for certain
That the thankful
Heart
Does continue
To fulfill
Its purpose
Without debate --
For it is that
The thankful heart
Realizes
That the reason
That it even exist
And feels the presence
Of the Lord
On High
Is that God
The Creator
Is the BLESSOR
Of everyone
Beneath HIS celestial
Sun...
So it is that
As the thankful heart
Searches
For the LIGHT
Of its days
It finds every
Opportunity
To give God
In Heaven
Eternal PRAISE...
The thankful heart
By far
Has come to
Understand
That blessings
Come its way
For one reason
Only --
And the reason is
That God
Is always on time
With GIFT in hand
As the BLESSING
Of the day...
The thankful heart
Has learned
That above
All else
The PROVIDER
Of every blessing
It has seen
Was designed
By God in Heaven
And was provided
According to
HIS DIVINE
Scheme...

I think what struck me the most after reading this is that maybe the biggest problem we face, is to find our thankful heart. It made me stop and think, do we often not reach our potential simply because we forgot how to be thankful for the small or twisting roads we had to travel to get there?

A delightful and well thought our poem. Well done for not forcing the rhymes. A few technical tips. If you haven't got any punctuation you don't need to start each line with a capital letter. Don't capitalize important words; give the reader the opportunity to find the importance for themselves. Especially on line where cap = a shout. Watch out for repetition like 'it is'.
