Ps.19:1-6
On a dome unprecedented,
Transfixing sights astound,
Created unexperimented,
Such declarations resound,
Of God’s infinite glory,
The Artist’s creation story.
Such are the stars above,
And the sun and the moon,
The canvass thereof,
Azure blue at noon,
And inky black at night,
The Artist’s creation delight.
From day to day they speak,
Of His infinite knowledge,
And unexplainable mystique,
To us He did pledge,
For our observant enjoyment,
His artistic creation event.
Though languages by the thousands,
Abound o'er the world,
They all understand,
That the canvass unfurled,
Speaks to all who will hear,
This is the Artist's chandelier.
The sun as from a celestial abode,
Coming forth on a nuptial traverse,
Dawn to dusk on the sky road,
Its life sustaining heat to disperse,
Each day “to run his course,” (Ps.19:5)
The Artist’s tour-de-force.
Should we not be held in wonder
Of His creative brush strokes?
To be nonchalant is to squander,
What He each day convokes.
These heavens are a profound declaration,
Of the Artist’s glorification.
