The magnificent oceans resound with thunderous crashing – yet the waves gently lap the shore, delicate lacy foam kissing the sand. My eyes behold the art of God.
Exquisite humming birds flit from flower to flower drinking nectar, brilliant throats glittering in the sun. My eyes behold the art of God.
Flowers grace a hillside, a myriad of colors in a variety of hues dance in the breeze. My eyes behold the art of God.
Snowcapped mountains rise to the heavens with tall stately fir trees standing sentinel, branches heavy with snow. My eyes behold the art of God.
Bright oranges, pinks and purples splashed across the sky create a sunset, silhouetting trees. My eyes behold the art of God.
The same finger that brushed the land with a creative touch, reaches down to brush a tear from my tender and aching heart. He tells me to look to Him, trusting Him with my life. He asks me to give Him my all in surrender, acknowledging that I know how faithfully he takes care of His works of Art. All made in His image are His most loved creation. He came to earth, taking on the form of man so that He could then go to the cross and take on my sins. As a result He gave me the ability to receive His gift of grace and know how to truly live and create my own works of art, because I am created in His image – the art of God.
