My hand moves a crossed the soft paper,
The ink from my pen bleeds through
I'm writing down my thoughts
I daily think, about you.
I write about my love to you
How sweet and sensitive you are,
How we talk everyday, at all times
And when I need you, you are not far.
My Lord, Jesus! How I love you so
You love me, forgive me, and heal me
Yet I’m not perfect as you are
I can't live up to you, I must agree.
You gave me my gift of writing
Although you come first in my heart
I thank you for everything you've done for me
And I hope we shall never part.
My life, and everything I do is in your hands
And for that, my writing is dedicated to you
Because I trust you completely
You are my life forever an ever, this I say is true.
Now I close my book for the day,
And I say a quick prayer to you
I thank you, once again, for everything
I tell you that I love you, but this is far from Adieu.
