and cold building wall.
Planning my fate,
planning to fall.
My world filled with emptiness;
in my hand the end of my rope.
My life worth less than an effort
A future with no hope.
Lord, if you can hear me,
If you really do exist.
Please give me a sign,
a reason for me to persist.
Without a sound you
appear next to my side
From your penetrating eyes,
nothing I can hide.

You said:
I am sent on a mission,
Ordered from above.
To give you this red rose,
a token of God’s love.
The thorns are like your conscience
pricking you with guilt and shame.
If you confess your sins to God,
He will lift you from all blame.
Repentance will release a fragrance
of healing within you.
Red is the colour of the blood that
washes and cleanses you.
The creator of this rose
is the creator of your heart.
His piercing love for you
will certainly not depart.

Your words spoke direct energy
in my life and rescued me.
Now the path to my destiny
I can clearly see.
A Hero sent with a rose
saved my life that day.
I thank my God for those moments
everyday when I pray.
What can I do or say because
my gratitude I want to show?

I will tribute to my Hero.
