“Hello Preacher! I have a package for you", mocked Rufus. "It’s a special delivery from the brotherhood of the Goths".
Suddenly he hit his head with a tomahawk, and he fell headlong in a heavy pool of blood.
“That is what you get for messing around with the prisoners of the brotherhood”! Then he left after he was certified dead.

“Now I bet you’d reconsider the ‘brotherhood’s proposition, because I know you wont want a murder charge hanging on your neck, Rufus asked Andy his brother?
You murderer! Andy growled.
What have you done to my friend because of your satanic cult?
Today we cease from being brothers or family henceforth!

Hold on brother! His senior brother cautioned.
“I did it for us, because that guy was taking you away from me into religion!
However, if you choose to forsake family because of a stranger, it’s all good. Beware; his blood stain is on your hand-gloves to help the police pin you down”!

Andy was summoned for questioning and subsequently remanded in custody as the primary suspect. Though he hinted the police that his brother was the real culprit but no one gave him a chance because of his stained hand-gloves and subsequently charged for 1st degree murder. Yet, his late friend’s mother felt a heavy burden in her spirit about Andy, and sensed that something was amiss somewhere.

Marilyn got home; but couldn’t wave off the mystery behind the burden for her son’s murderer, and as she knelt down to pray she fell into a trance.
“She saw Andy’s neck in a noose set to die by hanging crying mother, mother help me”! “While her dead son stood at a distance and said, Mother, rescue him for he’s not guilty”. “He is the brother I wished I had”! Then she opened her eyes.

The next morning as the judge prepared to pronounce the obvious death sentence; He noticed Marilyn’s raised hand and enquired if she had something to say.

“Thank you My Lord, I am hereby dropping all the charges against the young man. I am convinced beyond necessary doubts that he isn’t responsible for my late son’s death”.

“As a mother; I won’t let the sentiment of losing a son prevent me from saving alive another son if I can have him to replace my dead son”.
“Kindly use your good office and the fear of God to spare his life. My God will bring the actual killer to books if such does not repent and surrender to Jesus Christ”.

I enjoyed reading your story, but was a bit confused in a couple places. In the first paragraph your use of pronouns had me unsure at first who got killed. I caught on as I read, though. I am glad the story had a fairly positive ending. Keep writing!
