BEST OF FRIENDS

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a
friend that sticketh closer than a brother. This verse was found in
Proverbs 19:24(King James Version). It is a fact that we all need a friend
to comfort us when we are down, someone we can talk to and share with
us in good and bad times we met. Some people say "Tell me who
your friends are and I will tell you who you are". In some aspects, having
bad companions mostly influence our personal behavior and manners.

I have a best friend since elementary. Her name is Jenny, a sylph,
smart and tall in high. We grown up and stick together as the best of
friends ever . She is quite a nagger and rude especially when she knew
someone is courting her. Just then all guys in school have got no guts on
expressing their feelings toward her.Yet inspite of that, I still able to
understand her at all times, never did she hear any bad word from me.

As our second year in high school nearly ended, I begun to have a new
boyfriend, his name is Sam. But she seems so dismayed due to the fact
that we cannot chat with each other anymore during our spare times,
as if she felt I already forgot our sweet friendship. One day, a conflict came
between both of them and she frankly said to me she never like Sam to be
my boyfriend, Actually, at that time of my adolecence, I was not really
serious with the guy. Thinking all over, I finally decided to split with him,
I just did not want to ruin my good relations with my ever best friend.

I proceded to my college degree while Jenny just standy at home. I seldom
saw her since I was so busy with my studies during that time. Just within a year,
she married a wrong guy, a man with so many vices; drinking wine, flirting with
other women and smoking cigarettes and taking drugs. He never take good care
of her and their kids eversince they lived together .Then she regreted all her
rudeness and being unkind to others before. She admitted that it might be a
punishment to her from God.

Right now, she made a lot of good changes in her behaviors. And eventhough
we are now in distance apart, we still often communicate with each other .
Sometimes, I extend my efforts to help and support her in some aspects in
life, it might be spiritually, morally and financially. That is somewhat the best of
friends are.

In the book of Proverbs 17:17a(King James Version), King Solomon said,
"A friend loveth at all times......"

God bless you all.
