Parent

Being a parent is a job. Parents bring forth offspring. Parent is also a tough job. Parents are not perfect; they all make mistakes, like everyone else. Children take a lot of time and energy. You have problems in your life, such as worries about job, your bills or your relationships. To be a good parent, you have to take care of yourself. What can I do when I feel frustrated? Take a break. Everyone needs a break from being a parent once in a while because itís a hard job. Many parents sometime lose their temper with their children. It is ok to feel angry. Thatís what I think parent should be. They should show confidence, maintain authority, use a few words. As a parent, we have meaning purpose and direction. What does it mean to be a parent? It is simply meaning as parent to feed, cloth, and house your children or child. Perhaps I will find the meaning in parents around me. How can I be good parent? Thereís not one right way to raise children. Thereís no such thing as a perfect parent. I was raised in a single parent family and mother was a good parent. She still is the best parent a child can have. I have no kids so I do not really know how a parent is like. I can only image and look round at good example of parents today.

Thank you for sharing. For someone who is not a parent you have a pretty good idea of doing it right. We have to find constructive ways to deal with our anger. Please keep sharing.:-)

Taking a break is a must for parents. It's always a good idea to have a "date" with your mate once a week, or if single, go out with a friend, take a bubble bath, read a book or anything that will refresh you. I hope one day you will be a parent and the experience will be blessed! Keep writing!

It would have been a lot easier on the eyes to read your story if you had spacing and paragraphs to offset thoughts.
