When you go the beach you expect there to be a lifeguard on duty. You donít want to get in the water without someone there to save you when youíre drowning. So why walk through life without a lifeguard for your soul?

The bible says and when the Israelites saw the great power the LORD displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant. Exodus 14:31.

We put all of our faith in a man or women to save us, but why donít we put that same faith in the lifeguard of our souls? The bible also says For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. Mathew 16:25. Have you given up your life for God or man?

Who are you looking to save you when it really matters? Are you reaching for works, man, or God to rescue your soul?

Is God your lifeguard or is Satan?
