Always somewhat unpredictable
Wandering through life to and fro.
Guess you might say I'm un-teachable
Knowledge, I chose to forgo.
Hopeless, lost and un-forgiven
Drowning in sorrow and sin.
This story of Jesus unfolded
Transformed my spirit within.
He took me to the cross He hung upon
Undeserved, He carried my shame.
Mocked and scorned unjustifiably
He offered Himself for my blame.
Showed me His sacrifice, undeniable
Such wondrous love He displayed!
At the cross He gave unconditionally
With His life, my sin debt was paid.
He grabbed my heart, unconverted
Unwilling to ever let me go!
He shook me to my very being
Unrestrained, His love did flow.
Poured into my soul, uninterrupted
Redemption, mercy and grace.
Flowing like rivers unstoppable
Tears of joy streamed down my face.
Life before His love, unfulfilling
Then He infused His Spirit into mine.
Restored my soul, so undeserving
The Master then proceeded to refine.
Gave to me His Word, un-comparable
To guide me throughout my mission.
This Bible He breathed, un-compromised
Unchanged from His commission.
Led me into knowledge un-searchable
His wisdom I so craved to know!
Showed me His treasures untold of
Instructed me in my faith to grow.
Taught me to praise Him unashamedly
In good times as well as distressing.
To give Him the glory unrelenting
For His Holiness, love and blessing.
Leads me to my knees uninhibited
In request for more of His grace.
Provides His Holy comfort unseen
Promises one day to reveal His face.
Tutors me in prayers unrestrained
Rains down His goodness from above.
Edifies and upholds me unduly
Oh, the endless power of His love!
Grants me His mercies unbelievable
Showers me with adoration every day.
Illuminates my pathway undeniably
In this pilgrimage He leads my way.
Gives me assignments unexpected
Keeps me from fatigue and fear.
For I know He is always unfailing
Never forsaken, He’s eternally near.
Tests my faith unquestionably
To determine if I’m for real.
Corrects me when I fail, uncritically
Points the pathway then to heal.
He gives me such love, un-measured
The depth of it I cannot understand!
He’s teaching me, the un-teachable
My Master, my Savior, my Friend.
