Here, in the material world, we have the police.

those brave blue boys and women who keep the streets safe and arrest those who cause us harm.

While the people who inhabit the uniform may not be sinless, they are a representation and a manifestation of what happens in the spiritual world.

There are police angels who roam the ways of our lives, ensuring safe passage.

There is a court that dispenses justice, though not on our timetable, we can trust that it exists, because we see it here in the physical world, so how much more in the eternal?

There are police who have been shot, yet, because of duty, honor or perhaps a calling, the shot one arises, joins the force again and faces the evil to protect the innocent.

That police spirit can be in each one of us. Daily we are shot down. and daily, we arise, join the force and face the day, protecting others in love and policing our flesh so we don't become the murderer, the thief or the whore.

While the police wear the actual uniform, we also wear an invisible uniform.

We are all police.

An interesting way of seeing that we all have a part in God's eternal plan. Nice work!
