Fire-Fighter

Every born-again bible-believing Christian should be a natural fire-fighter. “Why so,” you ask. Matthew 28:19 says, “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

Now why do you suppose He commanded these things to His disciples? Simply because hell’s fire is real, and He doesn’t want anyone to go there. Hell was not created for you and I. His commandment to go about spreading the Word and telling others about his goodness was another way of “fighting fire.”

Anyone who tells others about Jesus, can consider themselves a true and genuine “fire-fighter.” Wouldn’t you do your very best to rescue all victims from a burning building if you were their only hope? Of course, you would. Our life as a Christian should also bear witness that we are here to love, help, and yes, rescue victims from the burning flames of hell. Are you the fire-fighter you should be? Am I?

If you're new to the Challenge, you may have missed this--but names are not supposed to be on entries. You've drawn a good analogy here, and I hope you continue to write and enter...you've presented some thought-provoking questions.
