Sing to me softly
Tonight
Your melody relives
Sweet memory
Playful banter
So shimmery
Your very nature
Intriguingly invisible
Mysteriously an essence
I cannot describe
Captivating my dreams
Of when we first met
Opposites exact
Between our worlds
You came as the snow
I welcomed your purity
White innocence
As foaming skies
Rainbows dance
On your sapphire skin
Flitting, whispering
Across your beauty
Untouched, unmarred
Guided solely
You paths were carved
By the Master’s touch
Knowing no boundaries
Save for His words
In abundance you gave
Giving back to His name
You are simplicity
Transparency alone
The gravity of your strength
Is never judged
Free as your destiny
Chained for originality
You are the river
That runs my life
Washing my mistakes
With His light
Reflections of your example
Call me to obedience
Reminding me again
Of eternal promises
Carry me swiftly
Drenched in your jewels
To the cleansing fountain
Of His forgiveness
