In the span
Of earthly time
There will arrive
A CHOICE
That we all
Must make --
It is the choice
Of our eternal
Destination
And the itinerary
Before of ETERNITY
We partake...
No MIGHTIER decision
Is ever established
In the human heart
And fragile spirit
Of man
Than when we
In this realm
Choose whom
We will follow
And from whom
Direction we seek...
It is of our own free-will --
It is a choice
That is totally independent
Of everything
And everyone
Which becomes
The true determiner
Of our destiny...
So --
When we look about
And make a decision
Which will totally
Define the NOW
Of our lives
With
CONSEQUENCES
To follow
And provide
For everyone
We will come
To meet
An example --
Let us look
To God's word
And seek
HIS plan in prayer
As we make the choice
WHOM to follow...
For when we reach
Our FINAL destination
We will be forever
Reminded
Of the choices
That we have made
As we reside
Permanently
Either in dire peril
Or find eternal RESPITE
In the flowery fields
Of HEAVEN
Where we
Shall softly linger
Beneath Our Father's
SHADE...
