He Sings A Song
Lord God our Father, You sing a song to
Us in the night!
You hold us in Your heart, not far from Your
Loving sight.
I have heard Your voice, the sweet sound
Of Your call to me!
Oh! I long to hear the songs of love Your
Precious melody.
Make my ears, hear the tender songs that
You sing,
Into those darkest of nights, that life may
Bring.
Come; sing Your love songs, my soul longs
To hear!
The melodies of Your Holy words! Let them
Bring You near.
When I search for You, through the long
Lonely Nights.
My soul finds peace and rest, Your
Presences; My delights!
I am listening now, as we draw near.
In the darkness Your voice I hear.
So sweet the melody bringing you close
Within my heart!
Even in the deepest sleep, Your presence
Will never part.
