A Melody of Faith
Each time we praise our Lord and Saviors name, it may be the
most beautiful melody in his ear. That our Lord just loves to hear.
Each time a lost soul cries out to Jesus, it resounds in a most
triumphant tune.
A melody of joy as sin is washed away. Finally with their Savior,
they commune.
Many melodies of faith rise up to Him, as if on the wings of a dove.
As we pray for guidance, peace, and love.
When we sing our hearts melody of faith, for blessings that will be
done. He gladly answers each and every one.
But sometimes the melody that our Lord hears, is just resentful
and callous. That brings our Dear Lord to tears.
So we must worship our Savior every day, with psalms and hymns,
and heartfelt praise.
Let Him hear the melody and song from those who love Him.
Rather than the iniquitous noise from those who deny Him in many ways.
