Just how heavy be the burden of the cross we’re called to bear?
Should we choose the leg that’s easiest on this journey we all share?
If from sin our souls we’re keeping to be clean at end of days;
In our lives has God been heaping gifts to those who keep His ways?

Should we suffer not to judge Him since His ways are not our own;
Or by faith and hope and wisdom can to us our God be known?
Do we call ourselves ‘His Chosen’ to be raised before the rest?
If we do can we be certain that to God we gave our best?

Can we overcome our feelings that our cross calls us as judge?
Or will we accept the burden that we’re here to spread His’ love?
Will we acknowledge we are human and are here to aid His plan?
Can we raise ourselves above sins enough to save our fellow man?

A lot of wisdom in the few verses of this lovely poem. You sure know how to pack a punch! Nice job!
