Deep sighing and crying
tangled by the chains of deep despair
afflicted by deep sorrowful memories
haunted by deep hideous noises of the past
THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY OUT
many a faithful pilgram has found himself
IN THE DEEP MIRY CLAY

Deep wailing & railing
unexplainable pain & strain
caught in between life & death
trying but almost dying
THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY OUT
many a righteous man has found himself
IN THE DEEP MIRY CLAY

Criticised, minimised & victimised
Cussed & discussed
Abused & misused
Analysed & scandalised
Rejected & dejected
many a faithful pilgram
many a righteous man &
many a true Christian has fallen into :
The Deep Miry Clay: Best Known as The Valley of the Shadow of Death But
The Valley is just a Shadow : A passing Affliction, for God is all there is- all else is But a Shadow.

I really like the wordplay in your third stanza.

Great descriptions here of being in the Valley. In Christ's Love,
