Valleys are Preludes to Mountains

When I'm in the Valley, I can see the mountains
I can see the heights, from down there.
I remember the times that He led me to vict'ry
I recall how for me, He did care.

Mountains are grand, and I loved to discover
All the wonderful blessings He gave
The joys and the blessings; oh, how they do cheer me
I'm so grateful that Christ died, to save.

Each one of my needs were provided
Each day He gave me what I need
He showed me His love on the mountains
And His grace is sufficient; indeed

The valley is dark, but it's restful
He's here with me now, that is sure
Refreshed I will be, since He's stays here with me
And this valley I now can endure

I look up above me. I can wish I were there
Or I can choose to cherish today
I can wish that I was up in the mountains
Or accept the things that come my way

For life isn't always a mountain
Where joy and abundance can fill
The valleys can also give blessings
When we see that they're part of His Will.

Thank you for showing us that the valleys are not always bad if we are looking trough God's eyes. I enjoyed this :O)

Very good poetry and great message. Reminded me of the Apostle Paul being content in all circumstances. I really liked this piece. In Christ's Love,

Very good. Good flow for the most part. Needs very little work to get the perfect rhythm. The message is very clear, good job. Keep sharing.

You are right . If we don't go through the valley , then we will never reach the mountain.

Thanks for sharing. Be blessed even as you become a blessing.
