Vision and RE-Vision.

Elohim beheld the expanse of the void and the depth of darkness. His Spirit hovered and surveyed the utter nothingness. “Huh! I don’t like this”, He must have said. Being the Light and dwelling in Light, immediately a vision was birth. Suddenly He said, “Let there be light”! Of course effectual response comes at His pronouncement and commandment because His word is power and His Word is Himself. So there was Light and He was pleased with the transformation. He is the God who “calls those things which do not exist as though they did”(Rom.4: 17 NKJV). This was the Genesis of The Vision.

The unfolding of a vision and gradual manifestation and fulfillment encourage the visionary. Elohim proceeded with His vision and was spurred on as all the plans began to fall into place. He carried out appraisal and appreciation of the project and was pleased with each phase.

Elohim chose the sixth day to create the executor of the vision and knew that for effective performance and implementation, the executor has to be made in the image of the Godhead. He had to be like God and carry the Spirit of God but cannot be God. The one formally called Lucifer, the archangel attempted to be God was cast down from heaven, and became Satan, the Devil. So Elohim said, “Let us make man in our own image”. Empowerment and Dominion was given and man enjoyed fellowship with God.

The visionary decided to take a holiday on the seventh day having worked for six days and fully satisfied with the first and foundational phase of His vision. The foundation of a house requires building blocks and solid structure, columns and all before it becomes a dwelling place or a masterpiece. Usually, many visionaries are jolted out of their holiday, comfort zone because of unexpected disappointments, challenges or saboteurs, ‘Samballat and Tobias’.

The omniscient Elohim is never caught unawares though, but expresses His disappointment, or wrath when the vision is being scuttled or circumvented. When man blew it to the schemes and deceit of the serpent, he lost dominion and power and brought curse upon himself until the Son of God cum son of man came to restore dominion and power. This is the ‘RE-vision’ that was part of the vision from the foundation of the earth. “The Light shines out of the darkness and darkness could not comprehend it”.

Nevertheless only those who identify with the RE-vision have the opportunity of restoration that came at a great cost to the Father but indeed borne out of Love for the world. “Without the shedding of the blood there is no remission of sin”. Jesus became Christ (the messiah) and then is Lord.
The Spirit of God as a seal has continued to enforce restoration as part of the vision since the rising of the Lord for the justification of the saints, and the Lord continues the work of advocacy as the ‘right hand man’ of Elohim who waits for the perfection of the elect and the return to eternal fellowship with God. It is not without contention. The adversary continues to contend for souls but the victory is already won. “ …Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”. “Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven”. The vision has been accomplished, it is being accomplished and it will be accomplished.

(Gen. 1:3, Gen. 1:29, John 1: 5, Matt. 6:10, Neh. 4, John 16: 33)
