Four Ways For A Christian Writer To Win A Publishing Package HERE
The Home for Christian Writers!
FaithWriters.com news and information for the write-brained Christian!
They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Matthew 2:11 (NLT)
Giving is and always has been a form of affection, adoration and love. When we truly love someone, we can't help but give to them. The wise men gave to Jesus their gifts of riches but this principle was never more fully demonstrated than 2,000 years ago when God reached into His treasure chest and handed over the most precious gift of all: His Son.

FAITHWRITERS DOWN UNDER CONFERENCE
Only five short months until the Australian FaithWriters conference! Conference is scheduled for May 23 and 24 near lovely Sydney, Australia. Attend practical workshops, glean from dynamic speakers and authors who desire to help you use your God-given talents to the best of your ability and, ultimately, to get published!
Meet other Christian authors, hone your craft and leave refreshed and blessed. You won't want to miss it!
In keeping with the "Gift" theme of this month's newsletter, a few select FaithWriters members were asked this question:
"Who's the easiest or most fun person to buy for on your gift giving list this year and why?"
"That's easy…the grandchildren. To see their eyes light up over brightly wrapped gifts, ripping off the paper and hearing their squeals of delight. It gives me joy buying for them and thinking of them. Want me to go on or see the brag book?" – Chrissy Siggee, Grandmother, and counselor and 500 member.
"The most fun person to buy for on my Chrsitmas list this year is my son, who will turn one on December 22. Since he can't talk or make a Christmas list, I can buy him all the toys and clothes I think he'll enjoy and there will be no complaining....just smiles and laughter!" – Kristen Hester, stay-at-home mom, writer, and 500 member.
"My daughter, Amy. She likes girly things like jewelry and body lotions. I like them too, so I just buy her something I would love to get." – Betty Castleberry, retired RN, animal lover and writer.
Well, that wraps up the final newsletter of 2007!
Something to keep in mind: As fun as it is to buy for the people we love, this year why not give something that can't be wrapped in a holiday bow and placed under the tree? Why not give the gifts that keep on giving long after the holiday season has ended…Joy, peace, kindness, good will, love, and most importantly, the Good News of Jesus Christ!
WISHING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY A BLESSED CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!
