Dusty Fontaine was born in Hollywood, FL in 1956. His family moved to Hartford, CT where he spent his formative years (4 through 13) growing up in the fast-paced city. Hating the brutal winters of the Northeast, his parents returned the clan to Florida in 1970, settling this time on the Gulf Coast in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area, where they remain to this day.
In 1978 Dusty met his future wife, Dina, at a series of prophecy seminars being presented at a local church and soon realized she was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. They married in 1980 and had two children (a boy and girl) by 1985. Between them, the children now have given Dusty and Dina seven grandchildren to love and dote over daily -- and they do. Dusty wrote his first book, "Billy and the Bees", to entertain the little ones along with two other "Billy" stories that have not been published as yet.
Dusty writes from his experiences as a husband, father and grandfather (Papa,) homeschooling parent, baseball and football player/coach, employer, recovered alcoholic and drug user, and Elder in the Christian church. But most of all, Dusty writes from the inspiration he has received from the Creator and His holy word -- the Bible.
