Hello,
My name is Shelley. I am 47 yrs old. I am at a loss as to what my profile should say, as writing a profile feels a bit like a dating web site, but I will forge ahead in trustful hope.
I am very down to earth, I do not need a lot of "stuff" to make me happy. I am grateful for each and every day that the Lord gives me, for each day that I wake up and I am able to put put one foot in front of the other. I have struggled with my health, my finances,the relationships within my family and most recently the failing economy we currently find ourselves in and frankly....maintaining my Christian outlook in a very fallen world.
I have always loved to read, a book can take you to so many places, the reader can be transported to different countries, imaginary kingdoms, to the very thrown room of God, if the author so chooses...and all that can happen while never leaving the comfort of your favorite chair.
I have an overwhelming desire to share my faith, to share the word of God through my writing, to create stories that will both educate and entertain all ages and I am looking for a place that would be open to that.
I am praying that this is the place.
