I have been writing since I was about eight years old. I got started by entering the creative writing category at my local county youth fair. So far I've entered a story every year (though I may have missed one), and I have received an Honorable Mention award three times there. I've also received awards for the LAND writing competition in both first and third place in my first year participating. Generally I like to write humorous short stories, but I have a novel or two in the works now, but I'm not a professional writer who can dedicate many hours a day to this. I hope to, some day, be able to publish some of my works.
