I'm many things, but first and foremost, I'm a Christian, having accepted the Lord on September 12, 1968, the most joyous day in my life. I'm also a wife, a mother,a daughter and daughter-in-law, a sister, an aunt, a good friend, a learner,a mentor,an organizer,an exhorter and counselor, a Bible study leader,a cook for home as well as for events,a writer, a floral designer, an interior designer. Whew! Writing all that makes me sound old. Well, I have 3 sons, and the youngest is 39, so maybe I am old.
I have lived in different places, born on the East Coast, lived in Europe as a missionary, lived on a Christian ship, and currently live in Southern California.
I love being a Christian and I'm thankful for the wonderful Lord that saved me. I have two portions of Scripture that I consider life verses. They are Psalm 139, and Philippians 4: 4-8. I love people, being with them, sharing stories about how the Lord has dealt in my life and having fellowship with depth, caring for some when called for.
I am continually and daily grateful for all that the Lord has done for us all, and specifically for me. I am humbled by His love. I love to put stories on paper, and hope someday to complete a book about my husband's grandmother, written as fiction based on the facts she revealed to me about herself.
Well, that's enough about me. Over time, I hope to get to know more about some of you other faithwriters.
God bless your writing and your endeavors. God bless you all with publication.
