Rachel Issitt was born in Chesterfield in 1977. She spent the first few years of her life in Calow Chesterfield, became a Christian at the age of 5 and then lived in South Normanton, Derbyshire until she was 28. Rachel was a teacher in Mansfield for five years and then went to Mattersey Hall Bible College to study for her Masters. For the past five years Rachel has been involved in leading and organising short-term missions. She is now the mission co-ordinator at Mattersey Hall Bible College. This involves overseeing the whole college going out on mission once a year and lecturing on missions. She is also involved in organising short-term missions on behalf of World Ministries. Rachel married Edward on June 28th 2008.
They are both looking forward to how God will use them in mission and ministry in the future. Rachel plays guitar, likes Italian food, Indian food, traveling all around the world, she is learning to cook and loves to watch Masterchef.
