About three years ago I closed the Christian Book Store that I owned in our mid-sized town here in Tennessee. I couldn't figure out how God would receive the glory in this. It was a very confusing time for me. I threw myself into writing my daily Bible Study so that I could journal my time in hopes that I could find that purpose. As I began to write, friends began to request they receive my journaling by email at their work. I realized that many women feel they do not have the time to get up early and do a faithful quiet time. The list began to grown and my time began to find purpose. I wrote daily devotionals for about two or two and a half years until I felt the need to slow down. I have never gotten so much from my studies as during that time.
I am very active in my church. I believe that as the end approaches, we must be diligent in producing disciples of the Word...as one day we may not have it easily available to us.
There is a fiction book bouncing around in my head that I have started but my first love has to be devotionals and study. I love finding that new thing that I have never noticed before. May God bless you through what I write and you read.
