I am 61 years old...mother of four grown children (3 girls, 1 son) and "Nonny" to seven (8 years and under, twins included)...we are former missionaries with Evangelical Baptist Missions, have lived in France about 16 yrs., the last eleven years working with inner-city Bible school and churches in Kansas City, ...I do free-lance writing (essays, articles, poetry) and write for a Christian magazine, "To His Glory"...I play the guitar a bit and my husband just bought me a dulcimer for Christmas a couple of years ago, something I've wanted for about 30 years (!)...am also an artist, doing about any type of art work, especially oil painting, water-colors,pen-and-inks, etc....love to cook, make greeting cards, read, play my guitar, have company, and travel!
We were with Evangelical Baptist Missions until June of 2006, when we resigned, when my husband accepted to pastor the Wellington Baptist Temple church, the same church he'd started with 36 years ago! We are still in the process of "adjusting" and getting settled into our new home, but enjoying working again with the church. We still go to Haiti in January, where my husband teaches pastors there, and to France, where he also teaches in the school which we worked with while living in France.
