God is the author. I just hold the pen.
I have never been a storyteller. Iím a technical writer through and through. Give me a how-to computer program guide to write and Iím in techie heaven. Sure, Iíve written (and taught) several Bible studies, but that is still essentially technical writing. And yes, I have authored a few newsletters as a Risk Management Specialist Ė but that was mostly rearranging thoughts already expressed by someone else.
Then one Thursday night in August of 2008, I ďfell victimĒ to a group of intercessors. I had asked for prayer for one thing, and God chose to add to that answer by opening a conduit that has resulted in the stories I now post. I feel so blessed, and so honored that He has allowed me to share my life experiences in such a way as to bring hope, faith, and I hope Salvation, to those who happen to stumble upon these stories.
Just as Christ fed the multitudes from one small basket of bread and fish, I hope that these small tidbits of encouragement provide a multitude of blessings and encouragement for your daily walk with God. I pray you donít just read these stories, but that you stop and ponder them (Selah!). Take them to heart. Let God use these stories to minister His individualized personal truth to you. No two witnesses tell the exact same story after an accident. Thatís because we all see things in a different way. Open your heart and let God show you the truths He wants to give to you and you alone. Let God witness to you. Let Him touch your heart and deposit within you the truth that He wants you to glean from these pages.
ďAs for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him He will be found by you.Ē 1 Chronicles 28.9
