Minoli Haththotuwa was born in Sri Lanka and lived part of her childhood and teenage years in West Africa. As a young adult she lived and studied in England, where she worked in the field of Banking and completed professional Chartered Banking examinations, as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
She responded to the call of God upon her life in Sri Lanka in 1996, when she left secular work and entered the ministry. She graduated from the Calvary Theological Seminary, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
By 1998 she was serving God full time in Colombo, at Calvary Church, from 2000 as a pastor. Her ministry has cut across many spheres, including childrens' ministry, teaching, preaching, evangelism, worship, the development of Biblical educational material, as well as womens' ministries and missionary outreach projects.
Minoli's heart is to win the lost and bind up the broken, and to this end,
God has placed His gifting and anointing upon her life. She loves to spend time in worship and has been stirred by the Holy Spirit to write many songs of worship to the Lord.
She loves people and animals, and enjoys spending time with both!
Minoli, her husband Manju, and their son Peter are now based in Washington DC where they continue to serve the Lord and obey His Great Commission. In addition to the global ministry of the website www.risingonwings.org, and teaching the Word in their home, Minoli partners with many ministries to bring the harvest in. She is the founder/president of Rising On Wings Ministries Inc, a 501(c)3 public charity.
